Academic Counselor
We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Academic Counselor to provide career guidance and admission support to students aspiring to pursue careers in medicine and engineering. The successful candidate will counsel students on the benefits of our adaptive test series, (link unavailable), and guide them through the process of preparing for and securing admissions through various All India Entrance Tests.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students and parents to understand their career aspirations and goals.
– Offer guidance on the various career options in medicine and engineering, including the different specializations and their prospects.
– Inform students about the different All India Entrance Tests, including NEET, JEE, AIIMS, JIPMER, and others, and the requirements for each.
– Explain the benefits of our adaptive test series, (link unavailable), and how it can help students prepare for these competitive exams.
– Assist students in creating personalized study plans and strategies to achieve their goals.
– Provide information on the admission processes for various medical and engineering colleges and universities.
– Conduct workshops and seminars on topics such as time management, stress management, and exam preparation strategies.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and changes in the medical and engineering education landscape.
Experience in test preparation and education technology
Knowledge of online counseling platforms and tools
Certification in career counseling or a related field
– A degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field.
– At least 2 years of experience in academic counseling or a related field.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to empathize with students and understand their concerns.
– Strong knowledge of the Indian education system, particularly in medicine and engineering.
– Familiarity with online platforms and technology.
– Experience in test preparation and education technology.
– Knowledge of online counseling platforms and tools.
– Certification in career counseling or a related field.
